Yep, that slice of pizza is as big as my head. Want the full pie? Better clear off that table and call your friends! (Or prepare to roll yourself home.) Can’t remember the name of the pizza place, but it was awesome and in Seattle. That’ll make for a cool pizza hunt :D

I’m more of a savory person, so when it comes to chocolates I’m a bit of an anomaly. Picked this up in Seattle, and totally LOVE how there’s a hint of saltiness with the sweet of chocolate.

Grilled cheese month has come and gone, but I’ve certainly had my fair share of grilled cheese to last me for a while! Here’s the classic grilled cheese with heirloom tomatoes from Clementine, located in Westwood. More “Cheesemageddon” to come. And no, I didn’t name it that…Clementine did.

Yep, that ain’t your regular Brazilian churrascaria. That’s chicken pot pie, Portugese style, from Wood Spoon in downtown LA. Flaky crust, lots of chicken, and creamy inside. Different taste from what you expect, doubly better! Their Pastel Portugese (dumpling with shrimp and coconut) was also dee-lish. This place is full of tasty homey carbs, mmm.

Shout out to SBleak for finding this awesome place! You read that right folks, it’s kosher Mexican food, thus Mexikosher. Located in West LA, these were the best tacos I’ve ever had (so far). Pretty much choose what you want on it, with fresh ingredients and tortillas made when you order. The chicken was marinated and tasty, guacamole and salsa fresh, and a million different sauces (from spicy to Asian) to put on top. I always hate how soft tacos fall apart, but these lasted for an hour. Portions were so large, I even split up my meat and ended up making four tacos out of the given two. Alright, I’ll wipe up my drool now.

…of exciting food! Pictured here was complimentary tiramisu after we told our waitress the food wasn’t that great at Ventura’s Spasso Cucina Italiana. Great service, but boring pasta. Sadly, I’ve had better out of a jar. The tiramisu was tasty though, far more dense and spongier than normal.

Quick little post to break up my marathon holiday eating. Man, I’m getting a bit roly-poly! For a popular chain in Japan, I highly enjoy the somewhat newly opened locations of Coco Ichibanya in Torrance and Irvine. This is Japanese style curry the way it’s meant to be if you’re not making it at home — cheap, with a LOT of variations and options. Choose your size of rice, your toppings, and your spice level! Ditch that nasty Curry House. Pictured here is the spicy asparagus, tomato and chicken keema curry. Until next year!
